A little about me. I recently relocated to Chattanooga, TN from Atlanta, GA. I've brought along my gorgeous cat, "midcentury" thrift store furniture, and dorky sense of humor.
My sport of choice is soccer and am happy to have been embraced by the Chattanooga FC support group - the Chattahooligans. Besides tailgating and yelling for 90 minutes I also volunteer my time on the design team.
Now for design related stuff. I am a graduate (aka former zombie) of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BFA in Graphic Design. For the past seven years I've focused on brand identities, brand strategy, UI, UX, mobile & web applications, as well as website design & development. In the past I've always worked for small agencies or freelanced, so having multifaceted skill-sets have been a benefit to each project.
I really enjoy working on multiple aspects of a project from ideation to creation. I not only like to think about what something can become but be there to make it happen. I believe that design has great power and should be not only used to sell an idea but to have a positive effect on someone's life.
As a designer, I aim not only to rely on aesthetics alone but to create something that functions well and can benefit people's lives for the better.
And hell, I just like to make things.
